Darren and Lori have been married for 22 years and have two boys, Alex (21) and Tyler (19). Originally from Iowa, Darren and Lori earned their bachelors degrees in Pastoral Ministries from Central Bible College. They love camping and family game night. They have served for over 18 years together in ministry as Children's Pastors and served on staff in various roles at their local church in Springfield, MO.
Darren and Lori moved to Springfield, MO from Iowa in 2005 to attend Central Bible College. It was during those years, nearly 13 years ago, that Darren had the oportunity to travel to Africa on a missions trip for 3 weeks. When he returned home, his heart had been changed. Africa, and its people, had left an impression on his life.
God has opened a door for Darren to return to Africa and use his gifts and talents in construction, along with his heart and passion for the people, to fulfill a calling he felt all those years ago.
Darren and Lori have a heart to serve other and are thrilled to do so along with the team through Africa Tabernacle Evangelism.
