Rachel Mullins

At the age of seven, after hearing a missionary speak at our church, I told my parents that I too was going to be a missionary. When I was fourteen, I went on my first short term missions trip with my district. That first missions trip I felt God confirm His calling on my life. I went on a missions trip every summer for five summers in a row. At the age of nineteen I became a part of a student missions program called Engage my Life and spent two and a half years in Guadalajara, Mexico where I was mentored by other missionaries and given amazing opportunities to be involved in a variety of different ministries all while working on my college courses online.

Six years after leaving Guadalajara and the Engage program God finally put me back on the mission field. In 2015 I went to Guajauato, Mexico as a missionary associate. I spent two years in Mexico with amazing missionaries who do univeristy ministry so I had the opportunity to work alongside of them as well as being able to branch out and be involved in children's ministry and helping a coupel local churches with training leaders for children's ministry. At the end of my time in Mexico, my plan was to return to Mexico as a fully appointed missionary and continue helping with training leaders in children's ministry, but God had other plans.

In February of 2019, instead of landing in Mexico once again, I found myself in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. A place not of my choosing but where I would quickly fall in love with the people and the country. I have had the amazing opportunity to be a part of raising up, training and discipling leaders to lead children's church in their local churches all across the country of Honduras. To be a part of the national leadership team for the children's church department. As well as building strong a lasting relationships with national leaders. I am excited to be a part of what God is doing in Honduras and to see Him moving across the country not just in adults but in youth and children as well! We are seeing a generation being raised up.
