This year we are focusing down on forty-two percent of the world who have still not heard the gospel. Lets change the story for people who may have never met a Christ-follower or heard His life-saving message. Entire people groups live in spiritually isolated parts of the world where the good news hasn't reached them yet.

Paul's question lands in our present moment: How can they hear?

Someone has to tell them. Someone has to go. Someone has to send. Someone has to pray. Someone has to give. The gospel moves through people—ordinary believers responding to God's call.

That's what "How Can They Hear" is about in 2026. It's a challenge for every local church, every small group, every believer. It pushes us toward the spiritually isolated corners of our world. It calls us to align our hearts with God's heart for the billions who don't know the hope we've found in Christ.

God is a sending God. From Genesis through Revelation, He pursues the lost. He's committed to making His name known among all nations. The Great Commission wasn't optional, and it wasn't just for professional missionaries. It was for all of us.

We all have a role in answering this question. Some are called to go—to cross cultures and oceans and plant themselves among unreached peoples. Others mobilize, equipping the next generation of workers. Still others resource the movement through giving and prayer. Every role matters.

"How can they hear?" demands something from us. From the local church. From the global body of Christ. From every believer who has experienced God's goodness. Will we meet this moment with boldness and faith?

We have an astounding opportunity. We get to participate in God's redemptive plan for all peoples. We get to be part of the answer to Paul's question. We get to be the reason someone hears about Jesus for the first time.

The need is real. The call is clear. Will you follow God's call to declare His name? Will you be an answer to "How can they hear?"
