The Stories of Varanasi
Riding boats is ancestral for me, it is in my caste. My job is taking tourists around, I have been
doing this for 70 years. Our business is doing great because Varanasi has a large influx of
tourists. I have children and grandchildren, we are happy here at mother Ganga. This river is a
mother to us, my real mother, where I live. The river has always been holy, we never forget
Mother Ganga.
